Geoff Dolan
Master of Ceremonies and Entertainer
(AKA "Shagga" )

The Four Square South Island Group recently engaged the services of Geoff Dolan as Master of Ceremonies for its three day bi-annual conference.

From the time of confirmation of the engagement, through to the closing function of the conference, we received a totally professional service from Geoff, interlaced with numerous surprises about his skills as a performer, which added significantly to the package as a Master of Ceremonies that we thought we were engaging.

Geoff's character, Shagga, very quickly formed a relationship with our conference attendees that grew day by day and had them eagerly awaiting the next day's activities to see what he would come up with next. His ability to interact with presenters and audience alike added to the overall conference presentation.

The real gem, however, came on the second night of conference when Geoff donned another hat as an entertainer, along with Sarah Sommerville. Together and individually they wowed the audience with their act, many of the audience saying it was the best act we have ever engaged over the ten years we have been holding our conference. They even wanted us to add him to the final night's entertainment.

Over and above what we thought we had engaged Geoff for as the Master of Ceremonies, we found him to be most obliging in assisting with various other activities associated with the conference. For example, what started out as a social round of golf for some conference delegates, turned into a very well run tournament under Geoff's organisation. Being a keen golfer himself, he not only organised but also played and mixed very well with the delegates. As Master of Ceremonies over the three days he kept the programme on schedule, introduced speakers and performers, gave away prizes, entertained and generally ran the show.

As an entertainer or a Master of Ceremonies, or both together, Geoff comes highly recommended.
